We believe in the power of hobbies and interests in mental wellbeing. We also understand that this can come with costs that people can't afford so we are trying to make hobbies accessible to all. Each month we send out different starter hobby packs, if the service user really enjoys the hobby they can claim Advanced and Expert hobby packs too to gain more equipment and knowledge
After receiving the expert pack, the service user can sign up for the hobby plan where they get a monthly email based around the hobby to keep them engaged and learning more.
Each hobby pack includes tasks that service users can complete to gain points.
A monthly information pack sent via email or through the post. It sends the service user information, prompts, activities to learn more about a theme.
Service users can sign up for a monthly book through the post. It can be fiction, non fiction or a mix. They get a choice of three at the start of each month or they can get a surprise!
We send out FREE books about mental health and wellbeing to anyone who needs them. We send out to individuals and groups.
Packs are sent out to local organizations that are supporting local people.
We have recently changed our befriending service.
